How theyre not charging for this is beyond me.

Thank you for the great interface and the fact that you provide this application for FREE!

I used to use another paid application for my task management which btw wasnt so slick and optimized as Producteev. Not sure how these guys make it free though… However this version has a few things that bug me: 1. Inability to run in background ( if I quit the application using CMD+Q, it wont return ) 2. Inability to bring up the window if I close it. 3. Lack of keystrokes (Global ones or in the menubar) . But this is just a 1.0 version which is great. Juicy UI.

Well I am not rating this application because I dont know what rating I should give it. Technically there is nothing wrong with this application. I would just like to know why should I use this application when iCal and Mail are working efficiently for me with iCal data displayed directly on my menu bar through the wonderful "Calendar for Mac" and Mail data is displayed directly on my menu bar through "Google Notifier". My iPhone 4 also syncs flawlessly and wirelessly with my iTunes. Why should I use this app???

This program is a must have for anyone that needs to schedule things! Especially for those in school/university! Thanks Producteev!

Id like to know how to change the display pic to something else. Any ideas?

As many others pointed out, this is a great app. It still has some rough edges. For example, it needs better keyboard integration. I should not ever have to use a mouse in an app like this, since all the operations are basically text-based. There are still some bugs (ie. setting deadlines with T doesnt work). Im sure all of this will be fixed in a future update. This app is amazing for the price (free!) and the value it provides.

Im having a problem where labels (which choose their color automatically) are repeating their color. It would be a lot simplier and easier if I could choose the label color myself. Otherwise, a great app.

Great app, and thank you for continuing to offer this service for free. I used Producteev for several months, but stopped using it because of how slow and clunky the web UI was. Nice to see this as a desktop app finally! I do have some gripes, along with other reviwers here. 1) When adding tasks or editing tasks, adding/editing attributes (tags) is tedious and requires too many clicks. Being able to type in label names with auto-complete is critical. 2) Lack of drag & drop functionality makes this app feel claustrophobic. 3) The list items are too large and take too much vertical screen space. They should be half the height they are currently. I have hundreds of tasks and I dont want to have to scroll to see them. 4) Needs more preferences for task font size, and which attributes are visible in the list to reduce clutter etc.

I downloaded this app and input a bunch of tasks. Its a great app for task management and I liked it quite a bit…until it stopped working randomly. I click to open it and it crashes every time. I emailed customer support last week and have yet to receive a response. 5 stars if its fixed.

I set-up all my tasks and even some work arounds with labels to implement the project aspect of GTD and then I went to re-size the window, which caused an error and now I cannot open the application... Not sure what to do next, but it looks like all my up front time and effort has gone to waste. Seems like an unstable application... But I guess you get what you pay for!

This is a nice start but it is buggy: - Small window layout doesnt display or behave correctly when resizing columns (with Task Info displayed) - Impossible to add Tags (Labels) - Resizing from all corners in Lion isnt supported Correct those and rating might go up. :)

Ive tried a number of other softwares (including the burocratic Things) and found Producteev to be fantastic! I cant live without it!

I love how its able to provide me with notifications. I dont like how I had to make an account. Too many things these days want us to make an account. Why cant it just open up without any login or whatever? I hate having so many accounts. I also dont like how I cant change the colour of the labels. I personally like to colour coordinate my school things, particularly my courses, so theres no mixup. The colours for the labels are automatically set so I cant change it. If there is actually a way to change the colours of the labels, please let me know. All in all, this app is quite helpful for me. Well see how it goes.

Where is the calendar view or subtasks?

Definitely could use sub-tasks, and for the "tab order" when opening app to log-in window should be "username" -> "password". Hate having to tab through other buttons to get to the next field.

This is a great app and have been using it for weeks. However, this latest revision makes the text more difficult to read. The overall look and feels is more harsh and less smooth. Otherwise, its a great app!
